This Specialist Qualification in Employment Law provides a comprehensive introduction to the law which informs best practice in relation to human resource management.  With an emphasis on insights, practical solutions and risk management the qualification provides the knowledge and skills required to handle legal materials, including employment tribunal procedures, and to confidently use legal terminology.

Expectations of your knowledge are high and stakes are higher than ever with Employment Tribunals now able to make awards in excess of £90,000 for ordinary unfair dismissal claims. This qualification is therefore essential for the HR professional, enabling you to identify problems arising in human resource management and apply legal principles in the workplace.

Completed over a maximum of 18 months, this qualification is graduate level accredited as 40 credits at SCQF Level 10 : RQF/CQFW Level 6 : EQF Level 6
