Welcome to our Property, Planning & Construction programme

Property, Planning & Construction law is a high-stakes transactional area of practice that is at the heart of many of the most successful law firms. It is a wide-ranging area of law encompassing multi-million-pound real estate transactions, property development and finance, landlord and tenant law, conveyancing, property tax and dispute resolution. Whether you act for developers, landlords, tenants, buyers or sellers, good legal advice is vital to ensure that the transaction progresses smoothly and that risks are minimised.

Our Property, Planning & Construction Law programme is comprehensive and flexible so that it is suitable for expert property partners and the most junior conveyancing practitioners. As well as a useful online introduction to conveyancing aimed at those new to the area, we have also designed courses for conveyancing lawyers who are returning to practice and want to refresh their legal knowledge and practical skills.

Who are the courses for?

Our Commercial Property courses focus on the most common areas you will encounter in practice, including commercial leases and agreements for lease, development land and SDLT as well as current hot topics including Special Purpose Vehicles.

Conveyancers will know the critical importance of understanding the risks and pitfalls in residential conveyancing. Our Residential Property programme includes emphasis on these elements to ensure lawyers are well-prepared to identify and deal the risks when they arise in practice.

We also have a programme of Construction and Planning Law courses which focus on the key issues that property and construction practitioners need to know to ensure their continuing competence.

Every year Central Law Training produce over 250 face to face legal training events giving you unparalleled choice of a wide variety of topics. We make these highly regarded training courses available in all major centres so you are never far from high quality legal training delivered by industry experts. Whatever stage in your career and whatever area of the law you practise, CLT have a vast range of events available for you to keep up-to-date with all the latest legal developments.
