This two day course provides an introduction and overview of construction law and practice. It is presented by Darryl Royce, a founder member of the Society of Construction Law, who has more than 35 years’ experience in the field.
It will explain the different types of construction contract that you will encounter in practice – procurement, traditional and design & build, as well as examining partnering and collaborative contracts and those regulated by Housing Grants, Construction & Regeneration Act 1996.
The first day will focus on construction contracts and the second day will examine what happens when things go wrong. The course is interactive and includes exercises to allow you to apply your knowledge.
