Advising on Covenants - Update Webinar (On-demand)
The list of advice which conveyancers are required to give clients purchasing a property is ever increasing. Recent cases demonstrate that covenants are frequently considered by the courts as a well drafted, valid covenant can scupper the potential to develop the affected land. In addition, a case from 2014 illustrates the importance of ensuring that all of the due diligence bases are covered. The legal adviser did not advise on the terms of a covenant affecting the property.
