The SRA Handbook and Code of Conduct - A Practical Guide

The SRA Handbook and Code of Conduct are the bible for solicitors on conduct and management issues.

This regularly updated course looks at the Principles which all solicitors have to follow, the key outcomes within the Code and the latest developments and case law on how these are to be interpreted.

It will include up to date advice for compliance officers, but will be of interest to anyone wanting to make sure that they are acting in accordance with the Code.

David Watts 
is a Higher Rights advocate practising with ZMS Solicitors in Leicester. He was formerly a solicitor with the CPS, an associate partner and duty solicitor with Nelsons and a solicitor at Cartwright King. David is also a member of CLT's PSR and CLAS Assessment Board, as an assessor.

Damon Swindell 
BA (Hons) has worked with hundreds of private practice firms for many years advising and assisting on a range of management issues. Previously head of a national solicitors network, he is now concentrating on risk management. Damon is also a Law Society approved adviser for the Lexcel standard.
