Agreements for Lease (5 hours)

This course will look at a range of practical issues relating to an agreement for lease including the circumstances in which one will be required, drafting, common conditions, SDLT and insurance and a range of other specific issues.

It will cover:

• Conditions: planning, landlord's consent
• Capital contributions and tax consequences and Construction Industry Deduction Scheme
• Surrender of an existing lease
• SDLT
• Insurance
• Building obligations
• Measurement and rent
