This practical course deals with the use of applications in ancillary relief proceedings to deal with the awkward Applicant or Respondent. The course will include applications to produce disclosure, when and how to use inspection appointments, how to avoid loopholes when drafting the consent order and will include drafting tips to ensure that the order is enforceable.

In the event that the order is not implemented the course seeks to identify the options available to enforce different types of order.

  • Enforcing orders for sale of property
  • Attachment of earnings orders
  • Judgment summons
  • Charging orders/orders for sale
  • Garnishee proceedings
  • Execution of documents
  • Search and seize orders
The course will deal with these matters with the use of practical case studies to include:

  • Overseas assets cases
  • Enforcement of maintenance orders in foreign jurisdictions
