Debt and insolvency pose particular problems for matrimonial practitioners – and both are on the increase. This course will consider the impact of debt and bankruptcy on Financial Order Applications and awards, with particular emphasis on the security of the family home in the light of recent case law and FPR 2010.

Stephen Parker is head of the Child Care Department at Greens LLP Birmingham. Stephen is a High Court Advocate (Civil) and an Accredited Specialist with Resolution. He is also a member of both the Law Society's Children and Advanced Family Law Panels and sits as a Deputy District Judge.
