This is a practical course designed to appeal predominately to legal secretaries wishing to consolidate their experience or non-legal secretaries wishing to pursue a career in a legal office. It will also benefit trainees, paralegals and other support staff, as well as those who are new to this area of work.
Delegates will be shown the procedure and drafting of commonly used forms, and will be given an understanding of both public and private child-care law. The course will give an overview of the conduct in a children law case, involving private and public child law. During the day, delegates will be divided into small groups and complete practical exercises.
