Recommended for all candidates who will take the Level 1 Accreditation as well as those new to asylum casework.
This course will concentrate on the key skills required for level 1 caseworkers in particular:
- * Interviewing skills
- Statement drafting
- Case analysis
- Evidence gathering.
The focus will be practical and will include exercises relating to using interpreters, professional ethics and best practice in relation to vulnerable clients. It will help prepare for accreditation and consolidate casework skills.
