• ull Day - 6 Hours CPD This course will help to prepare candidates to successfully complete the Interview and Advocacy Assessment test. A practically based course - relevant law and procedure aspects will be included relating to a range of applications in the Magistrates Court. The principle focus will be on: * The assessment criteria for the client interview - how it is tested * The assessment criteria for the advocacy element - understanding the process * Conducting a client interview - practical exercises and review * Conducting advocacy from written materials - practical exercises * Applying the advocacy testing criteria - a first hand experience * Dealing with judicial interventions effectively. Numbers are limited to 20 to enable delegates to take part in practice sessions.
