The BTEC Advanced Award in Chambers Administration is a unique qualification designed specifically for chambers clerks. The Award is a professional qualification which certifies competence as a junior barrister’s clerk. Developed by CLT in consultation with the IBC and validated as a BTEC qualification by Edexcel, the levels of competence for the Award have been set nationally.

Working closely with the IBC, the programme has been redesigned to meet the requirements of the busy barristers’ clerk, combining distance learning and face to face tuition.
