Preparing from assessments and examinations is the best way to ensure success. We are CLT have put together a number of training and knowledge options for you to consider as part of your preparation. We have practical face-to-face course programmes. We have supplementary readings in the form of course manuals and we have CD-Roms which provide exam questions and answers. Any or all of these will additional elements will greatly add to your learning experience.


Course Programmes
Our course programmes have been designed to give you best opportunity to pass the PSR accreditation test first time. We have put together a series of useful, practical lectures covering the basics of all aspects of criminal practice. Each has been created to ensure that you can develop and build the skills and knowledge you need for success.


We also offer specialist courses focusing on each aspect of the accreditation scheme. The courses give candidates the opportunity to take mock tests to assess their readiness for the real assessments.


Our courses are presented by experienced duty solicitors who have the experience of many thousands of police station cases to share with you.


Four Foundation Skills Manuals
The four Foundation Manuals cover:

  • Criminal Justice
  • Criminal Law
  • Criminal Evidence
  • Police Station Procedures and Practice

 

Each of these is written by a practising duty solicitor who brings real life experience and knowledge to the topic.


CIT Pass Pack
Our CIT Pass Pack is aimed at ensuring that anyone taking the Critical Incident Test is as well prepared as possible. It includes: three CDs containing practice CIT questions; an answer CD; a multiple choice test and a guidebook covering tips and suggestions for how to approach the CIT and uniquely, a practice CIT Test which you can attempt and send to us. We’ll then mark it and give you feedback on your performance!
